OUR NEW PLAYGROUND!!
After months of anticipation, we are happy to announce the arrival of our new playground equipment!
Thanks to our generous Parent-Teacher Organization and a contribution from our owners, Mr. and Mrs. McConnell, Accotink has a brand new piece of playground equipment, complete with slides, rock walls, step climbers, palm trees, and even a monkey!
Thanks to all our parents for their support of this project, and we hope everyone enjoys the new playground.
Accotink Students learn about Nutrition with Assembly and B.E.A.M. Food Drive
As the Thanksgiving Holiday approaches, Accotink Academy will be teaching students about proper nutrition and exercise thanks to our PTO Community Service Committee’s Nutrition assembly on Monday, November 9 in the Multipurpose Room.
Parents are encouraged to attend to experience a fun and hands-on presentation by Ms. Marilyn Dahl from Preferred Nutrition Services and Mr. Matt Thornton from Meredian Fitness. Ms. Dahl and Mr. Thornton will provide kid-friendly recipes for parents as well as fun games and activities to keep kids healthy during the holiday season.
